On Tuesday, December 14, 2021, the LAUSD board voted to:

1. Extend the current vaccination mandate for students 12 and older to be fully vaccinated from the current deadline from January 10, 2022 to the fall of 2022.
2. Aligning vaccine mandate for all staff working onsite to that of LAUSD’s current vaccination requirements.

The LAUSD board voted in favor of these two updates to the current requirements.

We would like to share more about Vaughn’s relationship with LAUSD and why some mandates apply to some of our campuses but not others. We hope this will help you understand why we make the decisions we make regarding COVID-19 safety procedures. Please review the attached documents for more details.

As part of the efforts to provide the safest possible environment in which to learn and work, all students 12 years old and older will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by January 10, 2022.  Please review the attached documents for more details.
